In 2017, twenty-six year old hacker and Bitcoin millionaire Daniel Beckwitt (aka 3 Alarm Lamp Scooter) started building a nuclear bunker underneath his house. He hired people to help dig tunnels, but in order to keep the location secret, he blindfolded his employees before driving them to his home. A deadly electrical fire ended Daniel’s project.
It all started at a tech conference where Daniel was inspired by a challenge to destroy a hard drive. How did this tech-bro’s growing paranoia and obsession with nuclear war turn into a tragic fire?
